Jess is a problem solver, a hair engineer, and a good listener. She is very keen on personal expression and clean, elegant design.

We consider ourselves the luckiest people in the world to have Heather as our leader, it’s like she has a PhD in happiness. Her laugh can light up a room, and she makes everyone feel seen, valued, and cared for. Heather creates a culture where people feel empowered to thrive and she makes it look effortless. She treats every person she meets like royalty, not out of obligation, but because it’s simply who she is.
Outside of work, Heather is a proud mom of two and a precious pup. She loves spending time with family, connecting with friends, sipping iced coffee, and tending to her garden.

For Maeve, our salons bring a special kind of magic. They love working in an environment where everyone’s individuality, creativity and personal style is celebrated. You will find them gushing over dramatic transformations and mullets of every personality.
Maeve has a calming presence and is inquisitive by nature, which allows our guests to feel comfortable and heard in their interactions. The relationships that grow with clients and coworkers makes Circle Square Triangle a truly unique space for community building.
Outside of the salon, Maeve spends their time screen printing, reading science fiction, and taking long walks with their dog Suede.

Olivia has the soul of an artist and the style of the cool girl from your high school photography class. Not only does she love being a part of her clients’ journeys in finding themselves, but she also has a love for beekeeping, home improvement projects, and the environment. Her flair for creative work can’t be taught, and we are always looking forward to seeing what she does next.

Bubbly is Serena’s middle name. As a 5th-generation hairstylist who relocated from New York City, she is a powerhouse behind the chair and has a penchant for perfection. She has a true passion for making sure you fall in love with your hair.

Nikki Jo is a passionate and experienced hairstylist who thrives on transforming her clients' looks and building meaningful connections. She is focused and always ready with an honest ear, when it comes to your hair as well as life. Any topic of conversation is on the table, and she is a great listener. When Nikki isn't working her magic in the salon, you can often find her practicing yoga, rock climbing, or kayaking on the water.

Sam is a practicing artist and sculptor who loves working with his hands, as well as with his mind. He is a creative visionary that is so charming and genuine, you can talk to him about anything from the best trails in Virginia to the weirdness of existing. Sam has a gift for creating comfortable spaces for everyone he meets, especially his trans and gender non-conforming clients. If you’re lucky enough to sit in his chair, you will leave looking and feeling amazing.

Thomas is a Northern VA native who moved to RVA from DC, by way of LA. He has such a welcoming and charming personality and you can talk to him about absolutely anything, hair-related or otherwise. Thomas is currently training for his sixth triathlon. He loves D&D, trivia, and his new baby niece. He is here for you on your hair journey and will make sure you have fun along the way!

Andy is a transplant from San Diego, and his mellow SoCal energy is unmistakable. He specializes in classic, precision hair cutting and natural-looking color. In addition to almost 20 years in the hair industry, he is a long-time yoga instructor, and enjoys martial arts, meditation, and spending time at the river with his family and their boxer, Dowser.

She’s especially drawn to natural hair and wellness, and spends her time outside the salon studying holistic care, experimenting with handmade self-care products, and always sharpening her technical skills. Clients and coworkers alike describe her as calming, detail-oriented, and someone who brings a quiet strength to every space she enters.
Being part of this team fuels her creativity and drive. She’s always open to a challenge and thrives when a client brings a style that pushes her to grow. And above all, she values connection with her clients, her team, and her craft.

Even if you haven’t always felt at ease in a salon setting, he will ensure you are safe and seen, making you feel like you belong here. Kai says, “My clients don’t have to perform, or be anyone they aren’t, or conform to traditional salon culture. Like we can vibe in silence kinda thing.” Kai is continuing to specialize his cutting and styling skills across all hair types, through our in house education program for natural textures.

With a deep love for vivid hair color and self-expression, Leah brings creativity and warmth to the front desk. She’s been dyeing her hair since 5th grade and proudly couldn’t pick her natural shade out of a lineup. Clients and coworkers often describe her as kind, patient, and attentive. Leah always goes the extra mile to make people feel welcome, cared for, and right at home.
Outside the salon, she’s happiest near water soaking up the sun. She has a soft spot for Renaissance festivals, flowers, and her two Persian cats, Summer and Sheila.
