At Circle Square Salon, we believe beauty thrives in connection. Our commitment goes beyond great hair—we're here to uplift and support our community. From events benefiting the trans and nonbinary community to sustainability initiatives, and we’re proud to use our space to connect, uplift, and give back.
On Sunday, March 30, 2025 we hosted our first annual Trans Day of Visibility event and we provided 45 FREE gender-affirming services. Instead of payment, we encouraged donations to the amazing local organizations listed below. We also donated a portion of salon profits from services on March 31, 2025 (TDOV) and we matched employee contributions. We are so grateful for the trust our clients place in us every day, and for the trans and nonbinary folks who joined us for this incredible event.
We stand in solidarity with the protestors that are demonstrating across our nation against systemic racism and injustice. Times are hard for everyone right now, and times are harder for our Black and Brown Brothers and Sisters. Racism is real. Implicit bias is real. To be silent is to be complicit. Black Lives Matter.
Our team of stylists are committed to making a difference. We will be donating a portion of our services to the local organizations below. Some stylists will also be donating a portion of their tips and Circle Square will be donating a match.
In January and February 2020, we hosted a fundraiser to benefit Richmond Conexiones; a not-for-profit organization that designs its programs to benefit mostly Latinx immigrant residents in Southwood apartments and South-Side Richmond.

In August 2019 we hosted our annual Cut-A-Thon benefitting the Richmond SPCA.
